About Me
Words have forever been an important part of my life. Scripture, lyrics, passages from books, poems, and short stories have drawn me in, inspired me, and offered comfort across the years. A desire to carry words daily led to the creation of Worn Wisdom.
Jewelry making began for me as a kid, creating beaded jewelry with my mom and sister. This persistent hobby grew into a passion over the next several years. When I was introduced to metalsmithing in 2013, I was able to put words onto metal and wear them wherever I went. I stamped words from scripture and song into pieces of jewelry and started sharing them with others, bringing Worn Wisdom to life.
I make my hand-stamped brass and sterling silver pieces in my garage studio at my home in Salem, Oregon. I live there with my husband (and frequent creative consultant), Conor, and our two sons.
My hope is to share a bit of daily wisdom with you through jewelry that is simple, beautiful, and deeply meaningful. Not just an accessory, but a reminder you can carry close.
So tell me—what words do you want to wear today?
